What's New Dulaney FBLA?

This year your Dulaney FBLA officer team is excited to announce many new changes to our chapter of the FBLA-PBL Organization!

  • This website is the newest and one of the most dramatic changes to the way our club members will interact with their officers when not at school as well as to the way members access information about their event, FBLA, meetings, and more

    • ​​On this website members can find and access the following:​

      • A "Flash Info" bar at the top of the page in which important information​ will be posted including upcoming dates and conferences as well as dates of future meetings. 

      • A "Conferences" section which lists and details the conferences for the 2019-20 membership year and in which changes to conference logistics and new requirements can be found.

      • An "About" section which new members can read to learn more about FBLA.

      • An "Officers" section where your 2020-21 membership year officers are posted and where members can get to know their respective Class VP's and general officers more.

      • A "Contact" section where members can leave suggestions and recommendations for officers as well as questions or concerns they may have regarding FBLA related topics.

    • Finally the biggest component of the website is the...​

      • "Event Resources" page where members can log in to access a library of resources for each and every event offered by FBLA as well as materials and information regarding the Business Achievement Awards​

  • Another change that is being made this year is that your officers will be hosting monthly Help Sessions in which one to two officers will work with you on a variety of tasks/activities upon request including:

    • Events:​

      • Help you understand competencies​

      • Guide you in the creation of your production or presentation 

      • Give feedback on production or presentation 

      • Ensure your preparedness for upcoming conferences and deadlines

      • Aide in submitting pertinent sections of your projects

    • Extras:

      • Aide you in the completion of BAA's​

        • Providing you with the necessary documents and information â€‹

      • Put you in touch with previous event participants who can offer insight into the event 

      • Bring the many opportunities FBLA offers on the state and national level to you

  • An exciting initiative that will be "Beta-Tested" this year with select members (determined by event) will be used to better prepare members for events that have very few resources as well as a few events that have been introduced very recently

    • This initiative will put students in touch with willing teachers who instruct topics that relate to your event 

      • These teachers can offer resources, hands-on help, as well as minimal, basic instruction for events lacking practice tests or example winners, etc.

  • Furthermore, BAA's will be offered this year to general members who are looking to increase their involvement in the FBLA-PBL Organization 

    • Business Achievement Awards are extremely difficult to complete if one is not a local, state, or national officer​

      • This year our officer team hopes to connect with enthusiastic members looking to begin their BAA journey through the above mentioned monthly Help Sessions​​​

  • Lastly, a Fundraising Committee will be established this year, headed by Kelly (Dulaney FBLA Treasurer) and will be concerned with the raising of funds in order to purchase senior stoles, as well as registering for conferences, etc.

    • A specific number of general members​ will be welcomed on this committee in order to host a variety of opinions and viewpoints to leverage the diversity of our organization

  • Event choices this year will be first come first serve
